Corporations

This is perhaps the most important section of the webbpage.
It deals with the Corporations that Rule our World.
You may think that Corporations in 2010 have great sway over politics. But compaird to 2110 it is nothing.
In the world of Cyberpunk 2110 the nationstates matters little. Most of them still exist, but it is for the most part, in name only. Only in some parts, do they realy hold any real power.
The world is run by the Corporations now.
While this is not something new in history, it has happened before, but it is taken to a Extreme now.

Just how noticable this is, depends a lot on where you live.
In places like New Mumbai and DaiTokyo the government is fully run by the corporations, and elected officials are a thing of the past.
In DaiTokyo for example, the city is run by representatives of the city's Zaibatsu. The number of votes they get is dependent on how big a share of the city's market the corporation has. Since AmericanMitoshiTrading has had 20% or more of the market for years, its rare for desicions to go against them.
Russia is probabaly the most extreme tho. That country is now completley owned and run by the SovOil corporation.
In other parts of the world, like in Europe, the people live more or less like they allways have done. With some variations, country to country tho.
In places like France and Germany, the old concepts of Nation still lives.

All these changes in peoples lives has of course affected how people think. Where people in days past swore lojalty to thier nation, many now instead swear thier alligence to thier corporation. Many that work for the big Multinats do so for thier entire lives,and thier friends and family do the same.
You are hired by the same company as your parents when you graduate from school and then you work for that corporation until you retire.
This is different between different corporations,a nd it is mainly the very large that has this way of operating.

Just how much Information you can find about a specific corporation varies.
We try and provide as much as possible about as many as possible. But the sheer number of corporations means it can at times be hard. There will allways be different amounts of information avilable, and different time between updates.
You should however come back and check, becuse information can change a great deal.
